Dealing with the Chimney

Chimney flashings are one of the most common leak zones on a roof, and one of the most neglected areas by roofing contractors.  Many contractors avoid these areas because properly flashing around them can be very complicated.  That is why it is important when getting roofing work done on your home to make sure that these areas will be addressed within the roofing project.

Our estimators look at the condition of your chimney flashing when they do the roof estimate. Chimney flashings are replaced at the time of the roof replacement on almost all of our projects. It is a good idea to replace your existing chimney flashing when getting a new roof installed to ensure that your chimney flashing will last at least as long as your new roof. By installing a new chimney flashing, we can make sure that it is done properly.
